Q. What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. People who attend First Church wear everything from business casual to jeans. Feel free to dress as you see fit!
Q. What if I'm not a Christian?
Come anyway. First Church is not a Christian Country Club, but a place to find hope, help, and healing. We won’t badger you or thump you with a huge Bible. What we will do is welcome you and make you feel at home.
Q. What does your Church believe?
You can read about our beliefs in the 'Our Beliefs' tab on this page.
Q. Are you going to ask me for money?
No! Tithing is a Biblical practice that conveys our love for God and our desire to continue the work of His Kingdom. Christians do this out of their love of God and to show obedience. Christians believe that we are only giving back what God has already blessed us with. You are welcome to participate during the offering time but you are by no means obligated.
Q. What does your church offer for my teenager?
The Youth Student Ministries meets on Sundays at 9:30 AM and Wednesday night at 6:30 PM. We have regular fun events and times of worship that are geared for Junior High and High School students. Lucas Keller is a key youth leader in our youth mnistry. He attends Jamestown University and has an incredible heart for God.
Q. What about my kids?
Children are very much a valuable part of our community at First Church. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, and encouraging environment for our children to experience God's love and lifestyle. A key ministry for children here is our Sunday afternoon Awana program. A terrific time of fun and Christian growth. First Church also has a fully equipped and clean nursery staff by qualified and loving adults to ensure proper care of infants and toddlers.
